The owners and staff at Berry & Clay Construction Company have been diligently at work building construction projects throughout East Texas for the past 30 years.

A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, Danny L. Berry founded the company in 1977 with Mr. Clay. In 1985, Mr. Clay relinquished his partnership into Danny's capable hands. Danny has since served as chief executive officer and president of the company, and has built a tradition of excellence for Berry & Clay.

Danny was joined in 1994 by his son Stephen, the company's project manager. Together, Danny and Stephen embrace a hands-on philosophy regarding the business.

Berry & Clay project superintendents have a combined construction experience of exceeding 80 years. Fern P. Berry, Danny's wife, has been chief financial officer for almost two decades, while office manager Patty Chapman has been with Berry & Clay for a quarter of a century. The team's longevity lends itself to providing the very best in construction expertise, continuity of excellence, and unique insight and knowledge into the segments of the construction industry.

From its onset, Berry & Clay has maintained an impeccable record for completing more than 300 projects under their management within schedule and within the guaranteed maximum price. The East Texas landscape is dotted with many of these projects.
