To Whom It May Concern:

Please consider this correspondence as my highest recommendation for Berry and Clay Inc. It has beenmy pleasure to become acquainted with this company and have them perform work for us on a number projects; and therefore I feel very confident in the information regarding their performance that I pass along to you.

Berry and Clay is one of the most professional companies that I have worked with. Each of their employees are very professional and knowledgeable in the way in which they conduct business. Berry and Clay’s job superintendents were extremely easy to work with and were willing to comply with any request or change made by Westwood ISO school officials.

Berry and Clay did a “Design Build” renovation project of our existing athletic facilities. The quality of work exhibited was second to none and we are extremely pleased with the outcome of the project. We had a strenuous time line for the project and Berry and Clay met every time line with room to spare. We have only had one warranty issue to date and it was in reference to a few door locks that were malfunctioning and they were replaced in a timely manner.

Westwood ISD is in the process of bidding several building projects and is very confident that Berry and Clay will be very competitive in their bidding of these jobs. If at all possible Westwood ISD would use Berry and Clay in the future.

Client: First Baptist Church, Crockett TX

Project: Family Life Center

Dear Danny:

The completion of the Family Life Center was a great day for First Baptist Church in Crockett. Now we are in the midst of using the facility for ministry and outreach and enjoying the activities that the center provides.

I wanted to write you to express how appreciative we are for the good job you did on the building. The committee feels that Berry & Clay did an excellent job and we were happy with the working relationship we had during construction. Also, I wanted to express thanks for some items that got a little sticky at times and that you helped us overcome. For example, the stain on the concrete bricks, etc. We feel that John Edwards helped us very much and we especially appreciate the relationship we had with him.

In conclusion, we just want to say thank you for all your help and input and let you know we are very happy with our building. Please feel free to bring any prospective clients by to see it.

New Summerfield I.S.D. used Berry & Clay as an independent contractor on our million dollar high school in 1999 and again in 2003 as a construction manager at risk on a 1.8 million dollar cafetorium. Project: The Children's Park

Dear Stephen,

I had to take this opportunity, to put in black and white, how thankful we are for you guys at Berry & Clay. Our experience with you building The Children’s Park, in Tyler, has been nothing short of wonderful. Throughout the process, you have been accommodating and helpful on every issue. We couldn’t have asked for a better Superintendent than Jamie. The communication and attention to detail was always the best.

Then today you went way beyond the call of duty by offering to help us decorate the 15′ Christmas tree, we just put in the park. We have been truly blessed by working with you. Thank you for making the construction of The Children’s Park such a great memory for us! Please call me if you ever need a recommendation.

Client: East Texas Medical Center

Project: Jacksonville, TX Location

To Whom It May Concern:

Berry & Clay Construction Company has worked with us on many projects at ETMC Jacksonville. They have been involved on projects such as remodeling of patient floors, and doctor offices. They have also done work for us on our parking lots and sidewalks installation, as wen as other projects. I have always found Berry & Clay to be very accommodating and willing to work with us. When a problem was found that involved Berry & Clay, or their sub contractors, they were always willing to help us resolve the issue. This is very important to me, as we are in a hospital setting and most of the issues related to patient care and needed immediate attention. They knew or had the resources to help us with any issues that needed to be resolved.

We have enjoyed working with Berry & Clay Construction in the past and we look forward to continuing our good working relationship with them on future projects. I highly recommend their services based on our working experience with them.

Client: Rusk ISD

Project: Various Projects

To Whom It May Concern:

Rusk ISD has had a long relationship with Berry and Clay, Inc. They have done several renovations and new construction projects for our District in recent years. Since my tenure as superintendent began in 2001, we have completed a $5.4 million Intermediate School, and we are currently working on a $2.5 million auditorium project that will have attached science labs, an art studio, and additional classroom space. In addition, they completed a small expansion of our administrative offices in 2003. Berry and Clay has served as the Construction Manager At-Risk on all projects and I have been very pleased with their work.

On our Intermediate School construction, Berry and Clay completed the project on time and under budget. We expect that the same will occur with the current auditorium project. In addition, Stephen and Danny are always available for questions or concerns and will come out on the job site any time they are asked to evaluate problems or answer questions. I have also found that they are very good to provide follow-up assistance and warranty work that can sometimes be a problem with other builders.

I have enjoyed my relationship with Berry and Clay, as they have provided quality work at very competitive prices in the projects in which I have knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any project, no matter how large or small. If I can be of further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me regarding their qualifications or to discuss their firm in more detail. I have every confidence that if you select Berry and Clay, Inc. to complete a project for you, they will do a great job and you will use them for future projects.

Dean Evans, Superintendent

Client: Central Heights ISD

Project: New High School and Middle School

To Whom It May Concern:

In March of 2009, Central Heights Independent School District contracted with Berry & Clay Construction for the construction of a new high school and new middle school project which totaled nearly $14 million. Our district has been extremely satisfied with Berry & Clay Construction in every aspect.

The craftsmanship of our new facility is of exceptionally high quality. Our architects frequently commented on how smoothly construction was handled, and how impressed they were with the building. The project included multiple change orders, which Berry & Clay was able to handle without delaying the project, or significantly increasing costs. The construction process has been nearly flawless; we have been billed on a timely basis and all paperwork has been submitted accurately and professionally. Additionally, good sub-contractors were used on the project, many of which have had a long standing relationship with Berry & Clay Construction. Most importantly, our project was completed under budget and on schedule in spring of 2011.

The quality of work evidenced during the Central Heights ISD construction project, scheduling of construction, and coordination of sub-contractors has given us great respect for the professional capabilities of Berry & Clay Construction. I can say that our experience working with Berry & Clay has proven equal or better than that with many larger contractors. I would welcome the opportunity to work with them again. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or would like more information.
